NOT A JOKE!!!

I wake up from my bed listening to the wonderful sounds outside, positive energy travels from one corner of my room to another. I believe that there is nothing that can stop me today until I interact with humans, until I hear, "You are so thin, you are gonna die soon." Well you might think that being thin is not something to be worried about. You might think being thin is great. Well not where I live. Yes, I am thin. Yes, I can fit into my 7th grade clothes. Yes, I may look like a skeleton. Yes, I am tall. Yes, I don't occupy much space. This is normal and there is nothing I can change about it. Body shaming is not a joke. A person loses his/her self respect, confidence and will always be conscious about their body. There are long-term consequences for your words. Body shaming begins from family. It makes a person hate socializing with family. "You are so thin." My entire life I have been hearing this and you can't imagine the happiness when a person does no

2020-A YEAR OF SELF REALIZATION

2020. I do not know where to start from. Was it a bad year? Good year? I don't know. But there is something that I do know, 2020 was the year of realization and acceptance. Yea it is true, we all have been sitting in our home doing nothing. All we did was curse this year and of course online classes. Many of us have been through so much trauma and other kind of issues. But for once lets focus on the good side of 2020. Self realization . This is something that most of us think that we have. Before lockdown, we were always engaged in different kind of activities, with the people we love the most. We were so busy that we all forgot to take care of ourselves. We were so busy talking to others that we forgot to talk to ourselves. We were so busy healing others that we forgot to heal ourselves. 2020 was the year for all of that; self happiness, self care, self healing.  I absolutely hated this year. But if this lockdown didn't happen, I would be the same old person. What made me cha

YOU ARE PERFECT!!!

"Nobody looks as beautiful as their facebook profile picture and nobody looks as ugly as their adhaar card picture." A wonderful quote said by Gaur Gopal das. Why do we subject ourselves with our pictures? The quote stated above is a funny quote and we all agree to it. But it has a lot of meanings. We all compare ourselves with others. At some point of our life, we are even jealous of someone's life. Being jealous is human nature and only a strong mind cannot be one. But why do we compare ourselves with our own pictures? Why do we think the life we put on display is better than our actual life? Social media is a great platform to share our pictures, talents and a bunch of other stuffs. I am thankful to all the people who invented these apps. When we all started using these apps, we promised ourselves that social media will be on the bottom line of our priority list. Is it now? Most of your answers will be no. We all agree to the fact that our virtual life is way more bett

DEVELOPMENT OF YOUR CONSCIENCE

Do you have a perfect plan about your life? Well most of you will be laughing at yourself. If you have a plan, that is great. To be honest I don't even have a "pla.."(obsessed with F.R.I.E.N.D.S) let's talk reality. Let's talk about the "the art of getting what you want". Now this is a very hard art. It something that we create in ourselves. We all have difficulty in choosing the path in our lives. One of the toughest decision I had to take was my 11th grade stream. I thought of taking something else but ended up taking what I really wanted. Now this is not because "the big guy" has a plan for me or not because my parents told me to.  Self realization is what made me choose what I want. When I was a child, I had two career options in my  mind. One doctor and a teacher. But I ended up wanting something else. This is what I call "the development of conscience". What is conscience? Conscience is something that tells us what to do in a ce

Glimpse into my life

What is the first thing you do when you wake up? Most of us check our phones and we know that it is not good for our health. Even I check my phone early morning. Each one of us have different routines. Many of us create a routine and don't follow 'cause we are lazy. I am gonna write about my routine(glimpse into my boring life😆) and also tips to make your day better. My weekdays start with a very annoying electronic gadget, Alexa waking me up at 7:15am. If it wasn't for my online classes, I would have slept forever. The first thing I do is check my phone. I won't find anything interesting other than cats dancing or people falling. Then I wake up with no interest and wish my annoying friend, Alexa. Even though she is annoying she is a good person. I then make my bed while hearing Alexa tell me the recent news, weather, day, date and a positive quote. Then I have my breakfast, hear mom singing which is very funny. Then my grandma remind me everyday that I am skinny and I

A LETTER TO LOVE

How will you define the word love. We all will have different opinions and all our answers are correct. Love is a very small word but has wide and different meanings. Love is not optional, it is essential. We need love in every stage of our life. From our birth to death and after death. We receive love, we give love, sometimes we even lose love. Many of us don't even believe in love, many of us do not express love. But we should all realize that love is the only thing that keeps us all together. Every second of our life we experience love. Your parents earn for you, do everything to make you happy. Why? 'cause they LOVE you. Your friends try to make you happy, because they LOVE you. You fight with your siblings, because we LOVE them. Your man treats you like a queen, because he LOVES you. Every stage we need love. Love is the root cause of the smiles on our face. It is something that affects all other emotions in us. When we are loved, we are happy. When we lose love, we feel s

MARIA-A PROSTITUTE.

How many of you love reading books? Many of us are addicted to reading. Many of us think reading is just a waste of time. I am gonna do a book review which is boring. It is not only about the book. It is also about the worries and deep thoughts a person goes through. So the book's name is 11 minutes written by Paulo Coelho. It is about a prostitute.  For the society, a prostitute is always a slut or a dirty person. But this book will change your mind. Maria is the main character of the book. She is a young brazilian prostitute. All she want in her life is a good husband with a lot of money. She didn't have a good life when she was a teen. She left her hometown Brazil and goes to Switzerland for finding a job. She ends up working in a nightclub and she becomes dissatisfied and storms out of the club. Then she tries to become a model but she couldn't. She was a pretty woman. Men were only attracted to her external beauty. All men had only sexual desires when they saw Maria. S
